Common Q & A

What can I do with my infant for fun?

Mid-Columbia Libraries; specifically West Richland and Kennewick, have a wonderful baby story time. My absolute favorite is Richland library. They have an interactive play story time and sing-a-long. After story time, everyone can stay and play. This is a great socializing tool for many children at this age. Best of all Richland Library provides age appropriate toys. It's a great way to meet other moms and to have your little ones interact with one another. Also, don't forget it's never too early to start taking your little one out to any story times. Along with Mid-Columbia Libraries and Richland library, and  Barnes and Noble also have great story times.

Mid-Columbia Gymnastics has 2 indoor playgrounds while the location on gage has a better layout for babies; the location on fowler has plenty of safe space to roam and play especially if you have an older sibling. Best of all both the indoor playgrounds are free to use until your little one is 17 months after that the entry fee is $5 per child. All American Gymnastics is also an indoor playground and kids under 17 months are free. Want to check out other indoor playgrounds? Click here

Fit4Mom Stroller Strides is a great way to get fit and stay connected with other moms. Yes, your baby stays with you the entire time! They even have a play date & activity after the workout session.
